My dad was awarded the Airman's medal for heroism, his award is an award for VALOR that is in higher ranking than the Purple Heart or the Bronze Star... He was the first to ever be awardered it in his career field, he was trained to become a United States Weapons Inspector assigned to the Washington D.C. area during the September 11 during attacks on the United States... He was important, one of those guys that is never seen but is always there when you need him. |
